North Shore City

The North Shore City Council, Creative communities has assisted the foundation with the provision of grants to further the arts programme at North Shore Hospital.

Framing of the Unicef Child art gift has brightened many corridors. Construction of a secure Art display case in the front corridor of the hospital will allow local artisans to display their work, free of charge and available for sale. Exposure to the 150,000+ visitors per month as well as the patients and staff gives double opportunity for art enjoyment.

In 2005 the North Shore City Council provided the main sponsorship for the Foundation led 2005 NZ National Top Hospital Games This event with over 500 health & health support professionals from all over New Zealand competed in an all day event of variety games & hilarity. There was vigorous competition for all the trophies which were presented at a spectacular evening prize giving event at The Bruce Mason Centre.
