Outstanding support continues to come to the foundation from this committed community benefactor. The Trust with the North Shore Times newspaper has donated to the cardiac campaign to purchase specialised equipment. The funds for the donation are as a result of advertising sales for the Health Report publication that is released to 75,000 households on the North Shore.

2006 showed consistent support of the health of the community. When a further donation of $20,000 was presented by the Mad Butcher Community Trust, North Shore Times and Fairfax Media.
The North Shore Times supports the foundation by presenting a monthly column named "Foundation Focus". This column provides a vehicle to inform all the people in the areas served by the hospital to read about current projects and achievements.
