City Impact Church Browns Bay
The City Impact Church as part of
their quarterly Community impact project have formed a partnership with North
Shore Hospital , their way of thanking all the people involved in providing
healthcare for the community they live in.
The list of contributions to their
health service continues to grow with innovative and energetic projects in areas
of need
The Impact team have:
- Provided individual Easter
gifts for every staff member working on Good Friday
- Xmas gifts for residents
of the Kingsley Mortimer Unit
- Xmas gifts for each baby
in SCBU
- Put up Xmas decorations for
Emergency department & main foyer
- Heart Art work for Birthing Suite and
Emergency Care Centre
- Spring,summer & winter “Mucking In” garden clean ups for all healing
gardens (9)
- Built platform & installed major art work, main entrance
- Uber clean for the Emergency Care centre
- Provided clothing for those in need in Emergency department
- Provided clothing /blankets for maternity services social work department
- Provided emergency boxes for those affected in disaster settings (fire/major
crash, crime scene victims)
- Created new surroundings for patients and staff “an extreme makeover” on Level 3
Palliative care.
- Created art work for palliative care
- Décor makeover for staff facility in Emergency Care centre
- Décor makeover for family conference facility & childrens’ waiting area in the Emergency Department
- 2008 Xmas gifts for all the older patients in wards 14 & 15
- 2009 Xmas gifts for Wards 12, 14 & 15
- Installed shade house for older patients in secure unit
- Continue to tend healing gardens
