Bunnings Warehouse North Shore supports the Healing Gardens programme at North Shore Hospital . They have provided materials and plants to create an Edible Garden surrounding the Diabetes Services
Healing gardens are designed to promote human wellbeing.This project is in line with a Gardens 4 Health project run by The Diabetes Gardens Trust. The gardens planted with vegetables and herbs are to be used by the dieticians & nutritionists in the education of people with diabetes to help them use fresh goods to provide healthy eating options for them selves
