There are several volunteer projects run by the foundation. There is the Art Programme, where volunteers assist in placement, rotation, cataloguing, framing and maintenance of the new and existing art within the hospital and community facilities.
Then, there is the healing gardens programme where volunteers assist in maintaining the series of gardens in and surrounding the hospital, as well as maintaining all indoor plants. Both these programmes function on a 'when you can come' philosophy, without any necessity for regular rosters or attendance. The help received in this area makes a huge difference to our environment.
Administration/office volunteer programme also provides much needed assistance to the foundation. Donated services are contributed by very skilled volunteers in the areas of

- web development and design
- publishing
Friends of the Hospital, an events based group now assists the foundation in the presentation of fundraising events.
