The North Shore Hospital Foundation is the principal fundraising body for North Shore Hospital and community health services in the North Shore and Rodney districts. It is dedicated to working with local communities, improving hospital and community health facility and services.
The Vision of the North Shore Hospital Foundation is to enhance the hospital and Community Health Care environment, for patients, families and staff who have contact with them, and to develop a regional pride for North Shore Hospital and its achievements.
The Mission of the North Shore Hospital Foundation is to inspire and involve all north harbour communities to support their health achievements and assets.
The Challenge for the North Shore Hospital Foundation is to raise enough funds annually to enable the foundation to provide for additional "above the line" projects not provided for by state funding. The foundation also supports staff initiatives aimed at improving their working environment and conditions.
