Future Stars Fashion Event

The wonderful Westlake Boys School auditorium entertained 600 guests for an evening of fashion & dance excitement.

The Major sponsors for the evening were the Westfield Group from the North Shore, Albany, Glenfield and Shore City. Food and refreshments were provided with other generous sponsorships from Pak N Save Albany and Independent Liquor

Many local business owners also supported the fashion event showcasing children’s fashion from Pumpkin Patch, adult fashions from Principals, Line 7 and Exclusive Suit Hire

Dance students from the Sullivan School of Dance entertained. Raffles, auctions and thrilling guest goodie bags added to the whole evening’s excitement

The event was MCed by popular television children’s host & Variety Ambassador Suzy Cato

The models were drawn from families and friends of the staff of the Special Care Baby Unit at North Shore Hospital. Organisation was coordinated by two Staff Nurses from the unit, Deb & Andrea who even managed to get the doctors to participate as models

A fantastic amount around $16,000 was raised on the night to go towards a fundraising project to buy specialist Cosy- therm mattresses and Neopuff respiratory equipment for the newborns
